Job Title: Head Consultant

About the Role:

KBR Consulting is seeking a highly experienced Head Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our consulting team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality consulting services and contributing to business development activities across the oil refining sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of the delivery of studies in the refining sector from pre-feasibility through to Pre-Feed, ensuring technical quality, on-time, and budget delivery.
  • Growing KBR Consulting's project portfolio and revenue in the refining sector through defining strategic direction and undertaking business development activities.
  • Interfacing with other parts of the KBR organization to grow incremental revenue from existing projects.
  • Providing technical and commercial inputs and oversight into client proposals.
  • Developing Consulting capacity and capability in the refining sector through recruitment and development of consulting team members.
  • Acting as a Subject Matter Expert within the refining sector.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Relevant number of years' industry experience with a specific technical and/or commercial focus in the Refining sector.
  • Depth of experience and knowledge in services areas such as oil refining overall technical understanding, oil refining technologies, oil refining economics, and industry competitiveness.
  • Senior professional with strong personal drive and credibility with both internal and external stakeholders in the oil refining sector.
  • High energy individual with a desire to make a difference and offer direction to the consulting refining business.
  • Ability to undertake and support business development, project manage consultancy projects, and manage successful execution and conclusion of refining projects.
