The Role


We now have an opportunity for a
Warehouse Champion working on Pre-Retail operation for our main customer John Lewis in
Grange Park, Northampton.


As a Warehouse Champion you will assist in the provision of services to the customer as directed by members of management.

This should be completed in the most efficient manner to provide the highest standards of quality and service.

Shift:
Monday to Friday. However occasionally we may need some flexibilitythis is Logistics after all

Salary:
£21,976 pa

Key Duties

  • You will assist management in directing staff to ensure efficient completion of the daily workload
  • You will be responsible for the performance of the team and ensuring that targets are met and deadlines are hit.
  • Conduct morning briefings
  • You will ensure operational and H&S procedures and policies are adhered to
  • Vigilant at all times and highlight any problems to the FLM.
  • Motivate and control the team making sure all processes and tasks are organised and undertaken accurately, in order to meet the high expectations and the standards of the customer
  • To undertake all other tasks as reasonably requested by management.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Punctuality, flexibility and proactivity are all essential requirements to maintain productivity and to achieve customer standards.
  • Knowledge of WMS, sound knowledge of Excel and Word programs is ideal.
  • Interpersonal skills that respond in a positive manner to the requests of the customer, your team, colleagues and management.
  • The ability to bring attention to detail to the role that ensures that a high level of accuracy is achieved.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Smart, professional appearance that reflects customer service standards.
