Here at GXO are currently recruiting a full-time, permanent **Warehouse Champion **to join our team at **Northampton, **NN4 5EL** ensuring that all things logistics are coordinated on site

This is **full-time**, 10-month fixed term secondment** **position, and you will be working a shift of 4 on, 4 off, between the hours of** 08.00 - 20.00.**

**What you’ll do on a typical day**:

- To maintain productivity and performance levels as set and agreed with the Manager
- To assist management in directing staff to ensure efficient completion of the daily workload
- Be responsible for the performance of the team and ensuring that targets are met, and deadlines are hit. Make sure colleagues are clear as to their targets and expectations
- To be vigilant at all times and highlight any problems to the FLM
- To ensure GXO operational and health and safety procedures and policies are adhered to at all times

**What you need to succeed at GXO**:

- Knowledge of WMS along with good knowledge of spreadsheet and Word programs
- Interpersonal skills that respond in a positive manner to the requests of the customer, your team, colleagues, and management
- The ability to bring attention to detail to the role that ensures that a high level of accuracy is achieved
- Self -motivated with the ability to prioritise workloads with the ability to work under own initiative
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
