We're looking for an Operations Manager with media or production industry experience to play a key role at the operational heart of Engage Digital Partners.
Reporting to the Head of Operations,, the Operations Manager will undertake a variety of responsibilities, including project management, allocation of resources, office and virtual setup, and managing client budgets.
This role will ensure our projects have the resources, tools and information to deliver the best possible results to our clients - on budget and to deadline.
The ideal candidate will have experience in managing teams as well as a background in media, and will understand how to manage the balance between client relations and achieving commercial targets.
Experience working in production and knowledge of film crews would be an asset.This role will play a leading role in the smooth running of day to day operations, with productive and talented people, all operating in a company culture that encourages morale and performance.
Work with relevant senior members of staff to ensure projects are correctly briefed, budgeted and run to time with delivery to clientManagement of project management software 'Wrike' and utilising the system to generate analysis and reports of the performance of projects
Track, monitor and control spend for ongoing projects - highlighting areas where budgets may need to be adapted for changing requirements
Form and manage client relationships to monitor client satisfaction, as well as to spot opportunities for business growth
Work with people department to help identify resource needs across a core pool of staff with a complementary range of freelancers and specialists
Office and remote working management, including ensuring all necessary office equipment is provided for all staff to carry out their daily duties as well as ensuring health and safety requirements are met and relevant insurance policies are in place
Support Operations Director in review of policies, governance and contractual issues
Maintain up-to-date operational knowledge across changes in legislation through attending workshops, reviewing publications and using network to benchmark against relevant companies and industry standards
Support production team with logistics and shoot planning where appropriate
Proven Project Management skills and robust processes
Experience in dealing with production and film shoots would be highly beneficial
Strong decision making, organisational, planning and problem solving skills with ability to identify and prioritise critical issues;
Strong understanding of financial management including budgeting, profit and loss, cash flow management and relevant employment financial practices
Basic understanding of employment laws and necessary legal and regulatory documents such as insurance provisions
Work flexible days, according to the appropriate sports-related calendar
