The Emily Jordan Foundation has been successful in obtaining funding from the Lottery Community Fund to recruit a volunteer co ordinator.
GroundworkX provides tailored support, training and paid employment opportunities to people with moderate learning disabilities ( MLD) throughout Worcestershire, allowing them to thrive, lead fulfilled and independent lives and reach their full potential.
The post holder will be responsible for:
- Recruiting volunteers to the projects
- Training volunteers
- Supervising volunteers
- Managing the day to day operations of the GroundworX project
- Building the necessary community networks to ensure the programme provides appropriate and sustainable opportunities for beneficiaries.
- Monitoring and evaluation.
To fulfil this role you will require excellent people skills and the ability to build productive working relationships, a confident communicator, problem solver, be organised and efficient.
