Volunteer Coordinator Salary £30,000 ( Full Time)

Location:
Kidderminster 3 year fixed term contract from July 2024


The Emily Jordan Foundation has been successful in obtaining funding from the Lottery Community Fund to recruit a volunteer co ordinator.

This post will focus on increasing and extending the use of volunteers particularly in our GroundworX team.


GroundworkX provides tailored support, training and paid employment opportunities to people with moderate learning disabilities ( MLD) throughout Worcestershire, allowing them to thrive, lead fulfilled and independent lives and reach their full potential.

We aim to help the beneficiaries move closer towards paid work.

The post holder will be responsible for:

  • Recruiting volunteers to the projects
  • Training volunteers
  • Supervising volunteers
  • Managing the day to day operations of the GroundworX project
  • Building the necessary community networks to ensure the programme provides appropriate and sustainable opportunities for beneficiaries.
  • Monitoring and evaluation.


To fulfil this role you will require excellent people skills and the ability to build productive working relationships, a confident communicator, problem solver, be organised and efficient.

Good IT skills and the ability to collect data.
