Job Description

Join us on this journey by stepping into the role of a Field Sales Specialist, where you will contribute uniquely to our digital empowerment story. So, what will you do?

You will be tasked with expanding iKhokha's customer base and meeting ambitious sales targets in the Mpumalanga Lowveld regions. We are seeking hunters who will actively seek out new sales opportunities, develop a sales pipeline, and ultimately close deals. In addition to the above, you will:

  • Prospect and canvas for new customers in specific areas and industries
  • Follow up with post-sale calls, log all interactions and demonstrations with clients
  • Engage in promotional activities, upselling new products or services
  • Research new sales leads, plan trips, and execute strategies to acquire new customers
  • Ensure monthly and quarterly targets for Gross Profit, Device sales, and Demos are met
  • Provide feedback on necessary changes to enhance sales or service procedures
  • Onboard merchants and assist with required documentation
  • Execute follow-up visits
  • Focus on specialized campaigns and report in detail on various initiatives
  • Adhere to company standards and values when representing the brand
  • Monitor market competition and share relevant insights
  • Take ownership of resolving customer complaints by investigating issues and proposing solutions
  • Maintain professional knowledge through continuous learning

Qualifications

  • Completed Matric

Deal breakers:

  • Minimum 3 years of Field/Outbound Sales experience
  • Prior experience in merchant services or banking sector is advantageous
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Intermediate proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Sales Software & CRM
  • FICA training is a plus
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transport

Additional Skills & Knowledge:

  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing customer relationships
  • Advanced understanding of Sales funnel & pipeline management
