Golf Operations Attendant
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join The Renaissance Club for the 2023 season.

The position of Golf Operations Attendant is a seasonal position (April to September inclusive), and in this varied role, you will play a key role in the delivery of the day-to-day golf operation for our members, their guests and several important events for the club, including the Genesis Scottish Open on the PGA and DP World Tour.

Golf Attendants will ensure the smooth operation of all outside golf operations.

This role will promote the game of golf, the course and the clubhouse to our members and their guests, ensuring excellent levels of hospitality are always offered.

Golf Attendants are responsible for all golf operation equipment and maintaining relevant supplies at appropriate levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide the highest level of professionalism and customer service for our Members/Guests when they arrive
  • Operate the bag drop and bag room
  • Set up and prepare the practice facilities
  • Meet all players upon completion of their round
  • Collect, clean and replenish practice balls during quiet periods
  • Close down and pick the practice facility at the end of play every evening
  • Maintain golf cart fleet, rental sets of golf clubs, rental powakaddy's and fleet of rickshaw trollies.

The Person:

  • Polite, wellmannered, and always have a professional appearance
  • Engages well with Members and their guests
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Likes working outside in all types of weathers
