This is a full-time post and will include some wider travel across the Southwest, with responsibility fora team of Housing Officers, the management of properties and full inclusion of welfare visits.
You will need access to your own transport for this position.
You will be responsible for the management of all SLA's ensuring that the team and individuals are reaching the minimum standards in line with key customer expectations, the needs of the Service Users, working to stringent policies and procedures acrossthe housing sector.
As a Housing Operations Team Leader, you will be responsible for planning and preparing your diary plus the schedules of the wider team who are spread across the Southwest.
Ensuring that property inspections, maintenance and facilities are managed in linewith the wider requirements, this includes general signposting of welfare and generic housing/benefits requirements, ensuring that everyone receives a consistent, quality service.
Ideally you will have a robust employment track record in Housing/Social Care and/or Community based liaison, a natural emphatic approach to the needs of others, able to communicate and articulate extremely well, explaining, assisting and advising on a rangeof housing solutions.
Responsible for your own care load, you will maintain professional and regular communication with service users, professional service providers, ,landlords and local authorities, all with the same focus - providing a first class serviceto those seeking safe housing options here in the South west.
Ideally you will have a range of inhouse Housing/Social Care and Community based training programmes, including full Safeguarding Training, further supported with a solid understanding of the housing and social care sectors.
