Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensuring processes, templates, file and folder structure are adhered to
  • Responsible for ensuring all projects resourced appropriately regarding skillset requirements and working with Resource Manager to achieve this
  • Responsible for managing freelance resource once contracted and working on pre event and on site, from a team management and project management perspective
  • Support on all pitch work, including presenting to clients as needed
  • Build client relationships operationally
  • Responsible for positive cashflow on all projects
  • Work closely with Recruitment team to interview and select new team members
  • Responsible for onboarding and training up new team members
  • Review working processes and procedures, templates and formats to ensure they are fit for purpose and support the team in delivering projects
  • Ensuring all project finances are robust there is a positive cashflow on all projects, project reconciliations are completed within the target timelines, GP targets are met
  • Team management through 1:1 meetings, team meetings, project meetings and coaching, mentoring, developing team members
  • Work closely with Client Services to ensure all scope changes are identified and all additional time costs are passed on to the client through PCNs
  • Building supplier relationships, negotiating beneficial terms on both projects and total Strata spend
  • Able to work closely and collaboratively with other Heads of Department, Head of Operational Excellence, Head of Incentives
  • Build relationships within the Strata Group
  • Attend industry and supplier events and be an ambassador for Strata
  • Management of internal and third party providers from creatives, to security teams to printers, as well as sourcing, negotiating and quality controlling new suppliers
  • Building and managing client budgets, receiving sign offs and being responsible for achieving margin
  • Researching and proposing innovative solutions, technology and processes for clients
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the way we work and help to grow the agency

  • An expert in their field
  • Experienced in negotiating contracts, attrition with suppliers (e.g. hotels, dmc's, caterers)
  • Proposal writing and presentation skills
  • Able to work closely with other delivery departments to ensure a seamless full service delivery
  • Be a natural leader, managing project teams and skillsets for each client job as needed
  • You will have large complex events experience eg. 1000pax+ events with multilple meetings/f&b requirements etc.
  • You will be used to managing delegate movements around large venues, working closely with Production agencies and creative agencies on crew catering and accommodation
  • You will have managed large onsite teams and have worked closely with other agencies pre event and onsite to ensure smooth delivery of the logistics of these events
  • A team player that thrives when busy. Our accounts cover a wide variety of projects and at times we are dealing with a lot of requests of different sizes all at once
  • You will be used to being client facing, offering advice and solving problems as they arise, both on site and pre event
  • A great communicator. You'll be involved with various other teams and parts of the business and it's so important that we all work together to achieve the client's objectives
  • Proficient in Excel resource schedules, onsite working documents, meeting schedules
  • Have high attention to detail
