  • Collaborate with Te Whatu Ora partners to influence public health services nationwide
  • Support the Crown's initiatives with Māori under Te Tiriti o Waitangi

This position requires a Principal Advisor to deliver top-notch information and guidance for the commissioning work streams. As the Principal Advisor, you will act as the primary link between Commissioning and key stakeholders, facilitating communications and briefings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer expert advice and information to support commissioning work
  • Coordinate with the Office of the Chief Executive on ministerial communications

The role is based in the Te Waipounamu Region, encompassing Nelson Marlborough, Canterbury, South Canterbury, West Coast, and Southern regions. Candidates must be located within this area to be considered.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences
  • Experience in strategic planning and critical thinking
  • Proven ability to analyze data and offer strategic advice
  • Familiarity with government operations and structures
  • Proficient in cultivating relationships across various levels
