Job Title: Operations and Performance Support Manager

An exciting opportunity is available in the Medicine sector for a role that involves offering operational and senior administrative support to services within a clinical group. The main focus will be on ensuring the smooth functioning of services to deliver high-quality, efficient, and patient-centered service in alignment with national and local Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

The chosen candidate will be responsible for supporting the Operations and Performance Manager in managing administration teams, waiting lists, and patient scheduling to meet KPIs and national NHS standards. This role will involve providing complex information across various teams, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and ensuring effective patient care.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Group Management team to develop robust business plans for services
  • Work with the operational management team to improve patient care through identifying opportunities for positive change
  • Manage waiting lists for inpatients and outpatients effectively to optimize hospital resources
  • Establish systems for the continuous development of administration and clerical staff

Job Role Details:

Analyze waiting list data to facilitate planning, monitor performance metrics, and compliance with targets

Manage cancellations to ensure rescheduled operations align with patient care standards

Coordination of clinical requests and administrative support for the management team

Organize workshops, meetings, and training sessions to foster team development

Support the implementation of business operating procedures and continuity plans
