A bit about the role
Includes sleep in nights.

Shift patterns are; 8am - 10pm (2:1 day time support), 10pm - 8am (1:1 overnight support, 10:30pm - 8am sleep in rate).

This role involves working with a friendly young person who lives in his own home. We provide a 24/7 support package with 2:1 support during the day and 1:1 sleep-in night support.
You will provide support to enable the person to lead a positive and fulfilled life. This includes support to manage their home, complete household tasks and access the local community and meaningful activities. The person has a genetic condition which has affected their cognitive development. The person also experiences high levels of anxiety and hypersensitivity. There is a Positive Behaviour Support Plan in place for staff to follow
Previous experience of working with people with learning disabilities, or high levels of anxiety would be beneficial.

We are looking for calm, resilient staff who are able to monitor and respond positively to this person's mood, anxiety levels and support needs.

We need motivated staff who will be proactive in finding and suggesting activities for this person.

We are also looking for a confident driver with a full and clean UK driving license who would be confident to drive the person's mobility vehicle.
