Due to continued business growth, we are delighted to be recruiting for a Content Executive to take our content creation to the next level.


Reporting to the Group Head of Marketing, as a Content Executive, your focus will be to create engaging and commercially valuable content that supports and encompasses our brand values.

To be considered for this role, you will offer previous experience in a content creation role (ideally in a B2B setting) and have a track record of identifying target audiences and producing content that aligns with their needs.

You will have excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage timelines, and coordinate cross-functional teams.

You'll also communicate confidently and effectively as you will be building relationship and working with a variety of amazing people from across our business as well as external agencies.

And you won't be afraid to get stuck in.

Our Marketing team play a key part in ensuring our amazing commercial teams are supported with increased customer engagement and high performing websites as our thriving business grows.

What will I be doing?


No two days are the same at BES Group and there are always lots of exciting projects to get involved with.

As a Content Creator your key responsibilities will include:

Work together with the wider digital marketing team to create and deliver our content marketing strategy.

Responsible for the creation and distribution of social media content (written and visual) for the group's LinkedIn pages.

Produce and proof written content including brochures, landing pages, blogs and guides.

Update existing and create new content pages for our group website.

Support with the promotion of our group events.

Maintain and reinforce messaging, brand voice and tone throughout all content.

Working with the Digital team to make sure where needed, content is optimised for SEO purposes.

Utilise data analytics to measure content performance, track success, and refine strategies for optimal results.

Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging content marketing technologies.


Work closely with sales leaders to gain insights into customer preferences, changing attitudes, new competition, and other factors to ensure success of campaign activity.

Partner closely with external marketing agency to ensure content aligns with the wider digital marketing strategy.

What do I need to be successful in the role?

Experience of working in a similar content role – experience of working within a B2B setting highly advantageous.

Experience using asset creation tools such as Canva to create social media content

Experience producing and editing video content either from scratch or from existing group assets – desirable

Background in creating compelling, professional, visual and written content

Experience in working with a website CMS, preferably WordPress.

Ability to lead discussions and meetings with internal stakeholders

Superb written and verbal communication skills

Excellent understanding of social media platforms, specifically LinkedIn.

Ability to understand content performance data to improve future output.

Highly organised to handle multiple projects simultaneously and can prioritise your workload in a fast-paced working environment.

What experience do I need?


You will offer previous experience as a content marketing role, ideally in a B2B setting or professional services industry, with a solid understanding of search engine optimisation (SEO) principles and best practices.

We are open to different experience levels and content marketing backgrounds but to work for us you will also have the right attitude, aptitude and appetite for what we do; Keeping Britain Safe.


You'll also offer:


Previous experience in a content creation role – written, visual and perhaps even video across all channels, with a focus on social platform Linked In.

Experience of understanding target audiences and creating specific content aligned to their needs.

Good understanding of search engine optimisation (SEO) principles and best practices and content analytics (desirable)

Proficiency in using content management systems and related tools. Familiarity with AI tools and using AI to enhance the content creation process.

Previous experience in a B2B setting or professional services industry (desirable)


Be a creative thinker with a good eye for design and an appetite to test bold new approaches to content creation.

Flexibility and willingness to travel to other business sites on occasion, as well as work outside core office hours as required by nature of role

Full UK driving licence

Ideally, you will also have:
A bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related qualification (desirable)

Previous experience in a B2B setting or professional services industry (desirable)

Experience of using design and editing tools such as Canva.
