We are currently seeking a dynamic and creative individual to join our marketing team as a Content Executive based in Manchester, UK. This role will play a crucial part in supporting our marketing efforts, with a specific focus on enhancing our online presence through effective content creation, curation, and optimization for SEO.

**About the Role**:
Customer acquisition is at the forefront of this role, where you will learn the art of creating targeted content aimed at capturing and engaging customers. You will also learn how to best organise content and measure and monitor content performance.

The initial emphasis will revolve around optimizing our existing content offering, crafting new landing pages, and organizing content to facilitate customer discovery of our products. This presents an excellent opportunity for individuals aspiring to enter the realm of digital marketing and cultivate their expertise in SEO, content marketing, and leveraging data for key business decisions.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Optimisation of existing content**: Assisting the team to improve and update existing content on the website, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and alignment with SEO strategies. Implement improvements based on research and analysis.
- **Content Creation**: Develop engaging and SEO-optimized content for the website, social media platforms, and other marketing channels.
- **Content Publishing**: Manage the timely publication of content using our internal systems and processes
- **SEO Support**: Collaborate with the marketing team to implement SEO best practices, conduct keyword research, and optimize content for improved search engine visibility.
- **Content organisation**: Grouping and theming of web content to help improve site structure
- **Competitor and keyword research**: Gain insights from competitor and keyword research to aid in content ideation and optimisation.

**Qualifications**:

- **Educational Background**: Educated to degree level in English or Journalism is preferred but will consider anyone who can demonstrate strong writing and research skills.
- **Digital Marketing Interest**: Display a keen interest in pursuing a career in marketing, with a focus on digital channels and content marketing.

**Key Skills**:

- **Content Creation**: Proven ability to create compelling and shareable content across various platforms.
- **Communication**: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey ideas effectively.
- **Using web tools**: Effective at using web based tools to help generate content, conduct research, publish and curate content
- **Research skills**:Ability to analyse competitors and conduct research.
- **Microsoft office tools**:Good grasp of using Word, PowerPoint, Excel and other similar tools.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: Up to £25,000.00 per year
