Diamond Recruitment has a fantastic new job opportunity for a Procurement & Production Planner based in Huntington. Applicant needs to have had a background in production planning, have MRP or MS Excel experience. The role would suit an analytical and organised individual.

Job Specification

  • Monday to Friday
  • 08:30 17:00
- £12 per hour

  • Full time
  • Temp to Perm position
  • 22 days holiday plus 8 days bank holiday per year
  • All training will be given
Job duties will include

  • Contribute to capacity plans and schedules
  • Balance supply vs. demand constraints
  • Analyse and monitor inventory levels organise procurement of materials and communicate with outwork partners
  • Manage data and progress of production schedules in MRP
  • Support and drive improvements in the MRP/ERP planning system
  • Be responsible for generating production schedules in the ERP/MRP system to support manufacturing activity
Skills and Experience

  • Experience within a production planning, supply chain or inventory focused role
  • Confident user of MS Excel and ideally, previous MRP/ERP exposure
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills able to build relationships internally/externally
  • Analytical and organised
