Procurement Specialist

Interaction - Huntingdon is seeking a skilled Purchasing Assistant to join their Purchasing team. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in optimising stock availability for their products, maximising customer service, and ensuring the right products are ordered at the right time.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the procurement of goods and services to meet business needs
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate the best possible prices and terms
- Monitor and analyse inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to queries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise tasks effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in business or related field preferred
