We are looking for Collections Advisors to join a market leading business in Stoke on Trent. You will be working on behalf of His majesty's service.


You will work on an inbound and outbound dialler, responsible for delivering excellent service to customers who have missed payments and need to pay off their debt.


We will offer excellent benefits including an employee's bonus scheme, life assurance, casual dress code and a range of other employee perks.

Fantastic training, Permanent roles, Progression, and a competitive starting salary of £21000 increasing to £22,000 after 6 months, plus a bonus potential of up to £2400 per annum.

Additionally, a 3 month bonus of £500. Furthermore £20 towards you're gym membership every month.

A Monday to Friday rotating shift pattern:

Week one:
Monday - 8am until - 5.30pm Tuesday to Friday 8am until 4.30pm

Week two:
Monday

  • 10.30am until 8.00pm Tuesday to Friday 11.30am until 8.00pm

Also a fixed early shift pattern:

Week 1:
Monday 8.00am until 4.30pm Tuesday off Wednesday to Friday 8.00am until 4.30pm Saturday 8.00am until 5.30pm Sunday off.

Week 2:
Monday 8.00am until 4..30pm Tuesday off Wednesday to Friday 8.00am until 4.30pm Saturday 9.30am until 7.00pm.

Responsibilities include:

  • Speaking with customers on inbound and outbound lines to discuss their arrears circumstances and missed payments
  • Ensuring the system is accurately updated after each call
  • Discussing debt resolution
  • Processing payments
  • Ensure the company bad debt policy is followed and reported accordingly
  • Delivering excellent service and supporting customers by showing empathy during difficult times
  • Achieve individual and team KPI's
  • Liaise and communicate with the relevant departments regarding the customer's journey

Skills required:

  • Proven experience working in a fast paced customer driven role
  • Work well under pressure and towards targets
  • Resilient and confident negotiating with customers regarding their payments
  • Strong written and verbal communications
