We are looking for reliable and friendly Bank Leisure Assistants to join our team at the National Sports Centre, to supervise and support the general public to ensure the safe operation of the facilities.


The National Sports Centre is a large multi-sports centre and athletics stadium offering a variety of sporting and health opportunities for our community.


Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing supervision and assistance to customers of Manx Sport and Recreation
  • Ensuring the facilities and equipment are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness
  • Dealing with user groups; organising and taking an active part in the operation
  • Offering trained assistance to customers
  • Ensuring the safety and security of customers property and valuables
This role involves weekend and evening work.

Please note an enhanced police check is required for this post, which the Department will cover the cost of for you.

Please note if you have lived for more than 6 months outside of the UK in the last 5 years, you will be required to obtain a Letter of Good Standing from the appropriate authorities in the relevant locations, please read the guidance about how to obtain this letter.

A current Royal Life Saving Society National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (RLSS NPLQ) is required for this role. A uniform will also be provided.

A relocation package and interview expenses are not available for this role.
