**About the role**

Would you like a meaningful role where you can really make a difference to peoples’ lives? Join our team as a Bank Emergency Care Assistant where you’ll work on the front line providing a vital service and assisting Emergency Medical Technician colleagues and Paramedics.

Your day will begin with a vehicle and equipment safety check and you will typically be teamed up with an experienced Paramedic. Being an Island ambulance service, we must be resilient in our approach; your day could start with a hospital discharge or responding to a collapsed patient in cardiac arrest. A typical shift includes attending to approximately 30 calls across the service.

We’re looking for individuals who are adaptable and can be responsive to change, allowing our service to deliver the best care possible to our patients. **Things to note**

You’ll work 12-hour shifts on a rotational basis, including weekends, bank holidays and nights.

An enhanced with barring police check is required for this post, which the Isle of Man Government will cover the cost of for you.
