Leading a team that helps shape People decisions through a data lead approach, you'll be responsible for providing analytic support to the People Leadership Team and wider People team in the areas of people metrics, reporting, predictive analytics, and process improvement.

By championing a data-driven approach to decision-making, you'll influence and shape employee decisions across the business and enable us to assess the business impact of people policies and procedures.

Establish and lead people data enablement and governance processes to help the business unlock more insight from existing and future data sources
Collaborate closely with the People Tech team to ensure that data outputs our people products enable actionable insights
Take ownership of the UK people insights implications of the Global People Modernisation Project
Work with the Global People Insights Team to help align the people data approach across the global McDonald's system
Bridge the gap between analysis and insights, finding effective ways to explain findings with context, simple narratives and visualisations that are engaging for all audiences, to drive action and deliver business outcomes
Identify areas for hypothesis-driven analysis or theory-free data exploration that best address the people priorities of the business
Conduct research and analyses investigating and understanding the internal and external drivers behind employee sentiment and data e.g. strategic research to inform development of the EVP
Build the confidence and capability of each People Team function to draw value from their data and analytical outputs
Lead a team of analysts with a passion for quantitative analytical methodologies and tools, ensuring continuous development and encouraging them to achieve their full potential
Enable self-service people data wherever possible to empower members across the People Team to view and extract key data they require for their roles
Assess workforce demographics and representation data to measure our progress towards our Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DEI) ambitions and goals
Produce reports, dashboards, and ad hoc analytics that convert people data into business insight, helping to improve strategic decision making across the company
Maintain data integrity across all of the people reports and analytics
Automate, modernise and futureproof processes of collecting and reporting on people data

You will primarily support the People Team, with close links also to the Operations, Independent Handling Unit, and the Global People Insights Team.

Strong analysis skills, including the ability to derive insight from multiple data sources, use of data to support debate, and problem solve complex people challenges
Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and an aptitude for interpreting and disseminating analytical findings, translating complex ideas in a simple manner
Experience of working with a range of continuous and ad hoc research methodologies (qual and quant), ideally in the space of employee CSAT or customer CSAT
Strong storytelling and data visualisation experience

Experience of communicating insights with a range of executive and non-executive stakeholders to influence people and policy decision making driving positive action.

An adaptable team player, strong ability to be self-directed in planning own work with experience of working collaboratively and confidently with others yet is comfortable using initiative
Good understanding of digital technology and Microsoft Office programmes - advanced Excel and PowerPointskills
