WHAT TO EXPECT
The Welcome, Access & Leave System provides inputs for the design of Body sub-systems and commodities (e.g., doors, lids, windows, mirrors ), DPP sub-systems and commodities (lock/unlock, vehicle lifecycle management ) and their physical and functional integration into the vehicle.
The key customer benefit is a safe, secure and outstanding experience while accessing or leaving the car. To reach this purpose, a thorough attention will be given to the specification of the customer journey (creation of scenarios and storyboards).
Working cross-functionally as a part of an agile team the candidate will actively support the design of the Welcome, Access & Leave experiences, ensuring each feature and system contributes towards the desired customer needs and vehicle integration plans.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Responsible for requirements derivation.
- Responsible for modelling and systems design.
- Working collaboratively with Electrical Architecture & Commodity Teams to implement new/existing experiences and features.
- Responsible for translating business and customer requirements into appropriate technical specifications.
- Responsible for creating, maintaining and developing the Welcome, Access & Leave System customer level requirements through the creation of Experience Statement of Intent(s).
- Responsible for utilising Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) techniques to demonstrate system robustness through early verification and validation (V&V).
WHAT YOU NEED
- Practical experience of using SysML and Matlab/Simulink for Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
- Experience in network architecture design/communication networks.
- Comprehensive understanding of Systems Engineering tools processes and practices.
- Solid understanding of requirements definition and interface documentation required to support the development and acceptance of solutions.
- Complex issue resolution across various functional commodities.
- Appreciation and understanding of customer experience and have a customer-centred design mindset.
- Positive attitude, and willingness to get involved with tasks across the System Engineering lifecycle.
