We are looking for compassionate, calm people with high expectations, who understand our complex yet amazing children and young people.
An exciting opportunity has arisen based at our CATE Centre in Brentford TW8, for an Education and Enrichment Tutor to support students with complex mental health and medical needs.
We are seeking someone who is flexible, a team player, and someone who can adapt quickly to the ever-shifting needs of our service.
No two days are ever the same.You will have:
- Experience of working with students with SEN, including Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH)
- a commitment to raising the achievement levels and self-esteem of disaffected young people
- A current First Aid Certificate or willingness to train
- Team Teach trained, or willingness to train and use as required
- A proven ability to work on their own initiative
- A high level of communication skills and the ability to relate positively to children and adults
- The ability to use relevant technology/equipment
- A cando attitude
OFSTED May 2019 judged WPES as a GOOD school
