About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Tutor to join our team at the London Ambulance Service NHS Trust. As a Clinical Tutor, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality education and training to our paramedics, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver educational programs for paramedics, including classroom and clinical training
  • Develop and maintain curriculum content, ensuring it is up-to-date and relevant to the needs of our paramedics
  • Assess and evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs, making recommendations for improvement
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration of education and training into our operational activities
  • Provide pastoral care and support to students, ensuring they have a positive learning experience
Requirements
  • Qualified Ambulance Tutor or equivalent (Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training / PGCEd etc)
  • Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (CAVA) or equivalent
  • Paramedic qualification and HCPC registration
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent professional qualification
