Nursery Manager Position

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursery Manager to join our team at Blom and Blom. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning and development of our nursery setting, ensuring a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for our children.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Ofsted standards and the EYFS framework.
  • Lead and manage a team of childcare professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality care and education.
  • Collaborate with local authorities and other professionals to ensure effective communication and partnership working.
  • Contribute to the development of our nursery's strategic plan, aligning with the company's vision and goals.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of care and education, making recommendations for improvement.

Requirements

  • Minimum level 3 qualification in Childcare, such as EYE, NVQ, NNEB, CACHE, or recognised equivalent.
  • Minimum 18 months nursery management experience, with a proven track record of success.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of EYFS framework and regulations, as well as Ofsted standards and requirements.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues, parents, and external partners.
