The Work Rights Centre is searching for an Immigration Adviser or Solicitor to join the dedicated and rapidly expanding team. Established by migrants for migrants, the charity plays a pivotal role in the UK's response to the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine, benefiting from Ukrainian and Russian-speaking professionals. This position demands an individual who can spearhead critical immigration issues with determination and finesse.

The Role

As an Immigration Adviser/Solicitor, you will oversee the immigration casework in collaboration with our team of advisers and contribute to the strategic policy framework under the guidance of senior management. This role not only involves aiding vulnerable migrants to navigate conflicts and secure their UK status but also harnessing frontline insights to shape a progressive policy blueprint, striving for systemic transformations.

About You

  • Enthusiastic and proactive, driven by a profound sense of justice.
  • Confident and resourceful, capable of maintaining high standards independently.
  • Comprehensive grasp of asylum and refugee laws.
  • Previous experience in teamwork, delegation, and supervision.
  • Qualified immigration solicitor or accredited adviser at OISC Level 2 or higher.
