Job purpose
Responsible for helping to execute the clubs eCommerce strategy, with focus on acquisition and
conversion. Ensuring that the online customer journey is optimised to enable a seamless digital
experience for customers across commercial departments, helping to drive up conversion rates and
average order values. Reporting to Head of eCommerce but working closely with Commercial Ops
Heads of Department as well as the Marketing and Media teams to ensure suitable representation
on club channels in line with traffic KPI's.

Key responsibilities

  • With support of the Head of eCommerce, execute the eCommerce digital marketing strategy for
ticketing, F&B and ancillary sales.

  • With support of the Head of eCommerce, develop and deliver the international retail digital
marketing strategy.

  • Create and execute the eCommerce marketing plan
  • Achieve growth in acquisition through free channels managed by others within the club such as
& Remarketing, managing digital marketing budgets in the process.

  • Work closely with the club's Marketing and Media departments to grow traffic through the
club's own channels

  • Identify relationships with partners offering services in UX and Conversion as well as optimising
user journey and conversion rates from the tools available internally

  • Manage the appearance of the online ticket site with focus on categorisation, product
maintenance and digital merchandising

  • Using excel, develop a relevant set of eCommerce dashboards and reports to assist in decision
making

  • Complete other tasks that the Head of eCommerce may see fit from time to time

Key relationships
Head of eCommerce - Reporting directly whilst working collaboratively to drive the business forward
to ensure optimum sales and profitability for commercial departments

Head of Retail - Retail reporting on non-UK territories

Head of Ticketing - Close cooperation with the ticketing team in order to provide our fans with a
best in class multichannel ticketing offering

Head of F&B - Close cooperation with the F&B team in order to drive up sales of matchday
hospitality through the Wolves Hospitality website

Head of Ancillary Sales - Close cooperation with the ancillary sales team to improve traffic and
conversion for the Wolves Lottery and other appropriate revenue streams

Marketing - To ensure the online channels are on brand and in keeping with relevant guidelines.
Work closely on asset creation to ensure the needs of the commercial departments are met. Close
communication and collaboration with regards to the Marketing Calendar.

Media - To ensure news, updates and developments receive the appropriate support at club level
through its own channels.***
