We are recruiting for motivated worker to join our busy team. This role is with one of the UK's highest performing local authorities, serving as one of the best places to live and work in.

You must be SWE registered and have relevant experience within childrens services.

Working from home and Office based/keep in touch 2 days a week

Main duties and responsibilities:
  • Ensuring children are at the forefront of interventions and decision making
  • Engaging with families and completing parenting assessments
  • Liaising with partner agencies
  • Ability to respectively challenge parents
  • To always respect and consider people's life experiences, differences and choices
  • Home visits
  • Managing all aspects of CP and CIN cases. Attending and minuting associated meetings
  • Attend professionals meetings
  • Managing cases in proceedings, Writing court reports, Attending court
  • Writing s7 and s37 court reports
  • To work with a level of autonomy
