Role Overview

The Sales Administrators key role is to support the sales team, helping to maximise sales and exceed sales and targets.

The Sales Administrator will work closely with the Sales Managers providing administration support and assisting with selling products and services.

Working exclusively by phone or email the Sales Administrator will become conversant and knowledgeable about the products and services they represent.

The Sales Administrator will have excellent interpersonal communication skills, a willingness to learn and be well organised.

The right candidate will have the opportunity to progress further and grow within the sales department, with a view to selling the goods and services of Hanson Buildings, including Buildings, Refurbishments, and Sundries.


Job Responsibilities to include:
Incoming telephone calls from Agents and customers
Facilitating order queries and assisting with order amendments
Assisting with quotations and taking orders
Booking in site surveys
Product and pricing support to a network of Agents
Processing Agent deposits
Administering and despatching customer parts orders
Despatching customer and agent literature requests
Quoting for new garages, refurbishments and sundry sales
Support with CRM system leads updating & following up enquiries
Updating social media platforms
Assisting with the marketing department with photo editing
Managing image database for installed buildings & refurbs
Maintaining and developing relationships with new and existing customers
Updating Agents on product developments and general news

The candidate will possess the following:
Being proactive and flexible
Excellent administration skills
Communicate effectively and the ability to adapt to different levels of personnel
Confident telephone manner
IT literate with strong word skills
Dynamic, proactive and self-motivated
Courteous and professional
Planning and time management skills
Able to work on own initiative and be a team player
Proven experience within Sales or Customer Service background preferred but not essential
