Apprentice Trainer

We are currently recruiting for experienced Apprentice Trainers to join our Supply Chain Academy team. This is a home based role requiring frequent visits to our Upminster courts or other training sites.

Under the direction of the Operations Director, this role is to effectively assess and deliver, face-to-face or online training on our range of courses and qualifications, including our Supply Chain level 3, Degree and Masters level apprenticeships.

In addition the trainer will be required to support the development of apprentices throughout their period of study guiding them to attain their qualification

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage/maintain paperwork processing and ESFA/Ofsted quality standards
  • Manage their own training schedules
  • Provide/maintain data relating to their learners
  • Provide learner support where required and as per the needs of the course
  • As required conduct learner progress review meetings
  • Maintain accurate CPD records
  • Delivery high quality training face to face or online
  • Create course delivery materials
  • Provide direction for the setup of delivery support platforms
  • Attend and participate in all required online compliance and department meetings
  • Promote EDI and British values within the course deliver
  • Any reasonable request from the management team

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in supply chain, procurement, forecasting, manufacturing, service warehousing or logistics
  • Experience in delivering higher education courses
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Professional manner and commitment to excellent customer service
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Effective grammar and proofreading skills
  • Complaint and objection handling skills
  • Effective presentation sills
  • Time management skills
  • Confident with MS Office
