Safeguarding Administrator

The purpose of the role is to work as part of the Central Area Safeguarding Team, providing comprehensive administrative support to the service.
The post holder will be responsible for providing effective and efficient clerical and administrative support to a team of professionals.
The role will involve the coordination and implementation of office procedures and will require a high degree of organisational skills and excellent working knowledge of administrative systems.
The post holder will often be the first point of contact and a focal point for the services requiring clear communication and liaison skills.
They will be responsible for managing and prioritising their own workload and will be required to use their own initiative.
The post holder will be required to work as part of a team at a community base and provide cross cover during periods of staff absence.
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Band 3 Administrator to join our Safeguarding Team at 22.5 hours per week over 3 days.
We are seeking to appoint an experienced individual who is able to provide a strictly confidential full administrative service making full use of electronic communication, computers and databases to support the effective delivery of the role and exercise total discretion at all times when working with the team and outside agencies.
