Welding Engineers has been in business since 1966 and is a major independent company specialising in the manufacture, installation, repair and maintenance of all types of Industrial Doors and Shutters, Steel Fabrication, Lift Gates and Shutters and Industrial Roofing.

We have branches in Uddingston, Newcastle, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol and Hertford.


We are currently recruiting a workshop-based position for a Time Served Fabricator for our Uddingston branch to work on a variety of private and public sector contracts we have in place throughout Scotland.


You will also be expected to complete essential written documentation such as work sheets, follow Risk and Method Statements and attend tool box talks and training courses relevant to your role.


Requirements include:

- SVQ Level 2 minimum

- Minimum 4 years' experience

  • Ability to work on your own as well as part of a team
