An exciting opportunity has become available to join our Team of existing Specialist Screening Practitioners to work within the Bowel Cancer Screening Programme.

We are looking to recruit highly motivated, hard working and professional individuals to support patients through their Bowel Cancer Screening journey.

Your role as Specialist Screening Practitioner is to play an integral role in supporting the Bowel Cancer Screening Programme by:
Working collaboratively with Bowel Cancer Screening Programme Hub

As part of the team, co-ordinate and deliver care from The Screening Centre to meet the needs of participants arising as a result of having an abnormal screening result


Work as part of a team to co-ordinate and deliver health promotion activities aimed at individuals to improve the uptake of Bowel Cancer Screening.

Our strategy is to reduce health inequalities by ensuring equal access to healthcare for all.

Flexibility to work between different Hospital/community sites to provide a service to Bowel Cancer Screening participants, you must have access to a car and a full UK driver licence

Work collaboratively with endoscopy, gastroenterology, colorectal and relevant multidisciplinary teams to provide a seamless high quality service to Bowel Cancer Screening participants


To comply with Trust waiting time targets, to ensure patients appointments are arranged within the NHS Cancer Waiting Times standards.
