Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized TB Nurse Specialist to join our proactive and supportive team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with tuberculosis, working closely with our lead TB Consultants.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage TB cases, including case management and TB nurse-led clinics.
  • Conduct TB screening, including Mantoux/BCG, TB contact screening, active and latent TB, and new entrant screening.
  • Attend multidisciplinary team (MDT) and complex meetings.
  • Provide specialist advice to patients, carers, and health professionals.
  • Practice within the scope of personal professional competence.
  • Supervise junior staff, teach qualified and unqualified staff, including students.
  • Support the TB Lead Nurse in innovative approaches to clinical service redesign.

Person Specification
  • Registered Nurse with a minimum of 12 months' experience.
