About the role
Our Supplier Direct Coordinator will be responsible for facilitating supplier onboarding and supporting ongoing supplier relationships.
Your focus will be on ensuring delivery performance meets agreed standards, resolving issues promptly, and upholding Partnership values through the Customer Delivery Operating Manual.
Additionally, you'll spearhead continuous improvement initiatives within the Supplier Direct team, aiming for efficiency and effectiveness in line with 'Lean, Simple and Fast' principles.
Collaborating with John Lewis Trading teams, you'll provide them with accurate performance data to aid in supplier improvement efforts.Your key responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring agreed Delivery Performance standards are met, your main aim will be to ensure customer delivery propositions are delivered without issues ( identifying solutions or escalating them on time if needed)
- Supplying accurate and timely performance data to enable cost recovery process with suppliers
- Deliver onboarding process for new suppliers, ensuring that suppliers are selfsupporting within the agreed time frame
- Operational execution of Supplier Direct relationships
Essential Skills
- Proven Stakeholder management skills (working with Suppliers or customers)
- Previous experience of process or performance improvements
- Previous customer service experience
