Initially reporting to the Global Head of Enterprise Ops until the end of transformation (Dec 2024) then reporting to The Global Head of Corporate Operations, this plays the lead role in planning and managing at both the strategic and operational levels.

The role oversees and determines key strategic direction and objectives of B2C Operations.

The role will drive the necessary changes for the improvement of operating and organizational efficiency of the team, balancing the delivery of standard policies, processes, and controls with support for frontline client/carrier outcomes.


  • Operating effectively in a matrix organisation, this highly collaborative role is responsible for achieving standardization of business processes and system architecture, with a scope of accountability which goes beyond traditional organizational siloes by focusing on the performance of the overall Bill to Cash function
  • Lead recruitment and evaluation of strategic roles involved in the process
  • Leading and Planning significant Operating Model Changes e.g. Strategic Team reorganization, location fand sourcing strategy, strategic system changes
  • Serve as final decision maker in arbitrating process design decisions when tradeoffs are required between standard and tailored approaches.
  • Provide visible sponsorship (e.g. involvement, communications, recognition) for panFinance goals / approaches / solutions

The Role

Key Accountabilities:

  • Develop annual and longterm budgets for revenues as well as expenses
  • Strategic planning for B2C Operations.

Continue to transform the BAU operation:

  • Evolving offshoring for further countries e.g., centralising collections for all countries, centralising payments for all countries etc
  • Expanding central collections to integrate C2C collections
  • Identifying opportunities & building business cases for further technology and automation
  • Ensure that all colleagues maintain focus on both cashflow and efficiency
  • Establish and monitor progress against key performance indicators
  • Develop and administer performance targets and objectives which ensure individuals and teams deliver effective cash management practices alongside successful client outcomes.
  • Develops leaders, communicates thoroughly, sets expectations, follows up to ensure success, conducts business reviews and holds team accountable for commitments and success criteria
  • Ensures the appropriate controls (financial, operational effectiveness, efficiency, quality, and regulatory controls) are maintained
  • Ensure compliance to all internal and external regulatory/legal (e.g., SOX control and reporting requirements).
  • Ensure B2C policies and process standards are being adhered to both onshore and offshore driving consistency across the operation and also ensure that process improvements are identified and implemented in a controlled and effective manner
  • Manage / resolve any escalations from the regions or GSD
  • Driving improved performance outcomes through global adoption of best/leading practices Actively manages metrics associated with the process, thereby driving continuous improvement
  • Work crossfunctionally with our frontline clientfacing teams, finance, and treasury to enhance client solutions in the market

The Requirements

Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business or related field (MBA preferred)
  • Potential Industry Qualifications (i.e., CPA, CFA, CMA)
  • Proven experience in operations management including some tenure in complex, multinational, multisite environments
  • Demonstrated experience leading a large workforce and managing global, highvolume finance operations delivery teams
  • Experience in operations management, billing and accounting process training, quality assurance, intelligent automation, and implementation of operating models driving process standardisation
  • Understanding of key finance and cash metrics and associated performance indicators
  • Experience and knowledge of financial reporting standards
  • Experience in regulated environments
