Our Theatre Team currently have an opportunity for a Senior Theatre Practitioner with surgical first assistant qualification. Continue your journey with us whilst we'll support you to be your best.
To join a friendly and supportive theatre team to deliver excellent patient care in during the perioperative episode.
As a Senior Theatre Practitioner, you will:
Be responsible for providing skilled clinical and technical assistance as a member of the operating theatre team.
Provide continuous competent and dedicated assistance under the direct supervision of the operating surgeon throughout the procedure.
Promoting best practice and contributing towards quality improvements.
Acting as an SFA within scope of practice, across a caseload of orthopaedic, general, gynaecology and urology surgery.
Working as a Theatre Practitioner across various specialities when not acting as SFA.

As a Senior Theatre practitioner, you will have:

  • Registered Practitioner with NMC or HCPC registration
  • Surgical First Assistant Qualification
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Immediate Life Support provider
  • Mentorship qualification
