Senior Scrub Practitioner / Surgical First Assistant

Compass Associates is seeking an experienced theatre practitioner to join our team at an award-winning Private Hospital in North London. As a Senior Scrub Practitioner / Surgical First Assistant, you will be part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering high-quality surgical services to privately paying, privately insured, and NHS referred patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the safe delivery of surgeries, including orthopaedics, general, gynaecology, and day case/minor ops
  • Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure excellent patient care
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance clinical and leadership skills
Requirements:
  • RGN or ODP qualified with NMC or HCPC registration
  • Experience working in theatres or transferable areas
  • Previous experience working in a senior capacity is advantageous
  • Passion for high-quality patient care and excellent interpersonal skills
