At SimCorp, we play a vital role in optimizing investments, accounting, and operations for global financial institutions through cutting-edge IT systems, processes, and financial expertise. As a Principal Business Consultant focusing on Accounting, your involvement is key to expanding our market presence and enhancing the outcomes of our clients' projects. You will be fully engaged in implementation projects, utilizing your specialized knowledge in the Accounting domain to oversee all project aspects and serve as a valuable resource for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead major components of SimCorp Dimension implementation projects, ensuring optimal use of the software in alignment with clients' needs in the Accounting sector
  • Collaborate closely with the project manager to drive project success
  • Act as the primary contact point for clients regarding SimCorp Dimension enquiries
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior colleagues
  • Develop requirement specifications for product enhancements
  • Identify opportunities for additional tailored services for clients
  • Enhance implementation processes and share best practices across projects
  • Engage in knowledge exchange with international colleagues

Desired Qualifications

  • Degree in economics/finance, mathematics/computer science, or related fields
  • Over 10 years of relevant experience
  • Background in Accounting of financial investments from banking, asset management, insurance, or consulting industries
  • Experience with SimCorp Dimension or similar financial software
  • Practical exposure to Accounting processes such as financial accounting, General Ledger, Fund Administration, and Data Migration
  • Client-focused individual with strong communication and consulting skills
  • Fluency in English and additional European language proficiency
  • Willingness to travel as needed
