Department: RENAL - Haemodialysis Unit, St Luke's Hospital, Bradford
Hours: 30 Hours per week
Our 47-bed chronic haemodialysis unit at St Luke's Hospital caters to a diverse patient population from Bradford and neighboring areas. As part of Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, we work closely with a large multidisciplinary team while maintaining our unique identity.
We have an exciting opportunity for a candidate with a Level 3 Qualification looking to start or advance their healthcare career in haemodialysis, gaining valuable knowledge and skills in patient care.
This role offers a Health Care Worker the chance to learn extensively in this specialized area, joining a supportive team dedicated to implementing the best evidence-based practices for patient care without compromising professional standards. The successful candidate will undergo comprehensive training over the first 6 months to fulfill the Renal Support Worker role.
Main Duties of the Job
- Assist nursing staff and consultants in providing quality clinical care to renal patients
- Aid in direct and indirect care for patients undergoing renal procedures
- Assist in patient transitions between care settings
