Job Title: Application Support Specialist

Location: Fully remote (Candidate has to be based in the UK)

Job Type: Full-Time

My client are leaders in providing comprehensive ERP solutions to our clients. They are dedicated to ensuring seamless operation and exceptional support for our ERP systems and are seeking a skilled and proactive Application Support Specialist to join their growing team. If you have excellent problem-solving skills, and experience with ITIL practices, we want to hear from you

Job Description: As an Application Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting and enhancing their clients' ERP systems. Your responsibilities will include providing technical support, performing administrative tasks, managing contracts, and ensuring compliance with ITIL standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-line/Second-line support for issues and queries.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical problems, escalating complex issues when necessary.
  • Manage and maintain contracts, ensuring renewals and compliance.
  • Document and track all support activities and resolutions in a ticketing system.
  • Ensure adherence to ITIL best practices for incident, problem, and change management.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of support documentation and user guides.
  • Participate in on-call support rotation as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in ERP application support or a similar technical support role.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL principles and practices.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in using ticketing systems and support tools.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills: .

  • Knowledge of SQL, databases, and scripting, cloud platforms.
  • Experience in a customer-facing role, providing technical support.
  • Understanding of ITIL standards and processes / experience of working with ServiceNow or an equivalent ITSM / CRM tool
