Job Description: As an Application Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting and enhancing their clients' ERP systems. Your responsibilities will include providing technical support, performing administrative tasks, managing contracts, and ensuring compliance with ITIL standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line/Second-line support for issues and queries.
- Diagnose and resolve technical problems, escalating complex issues when necessary.
- Manage and maintain contracts, ensuring renewals and compliance.
- Document and track all support activities and resolutions in a ticketing system.
- Ensure adherence to ITIL best practices for incident, problem, and change management.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of support documentation and user guides.
- Participate in on-call support rotation as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in ERP application support or a similar technical support role.
- Strong understanding of ITIL principles and practices.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using ticketing systems and support tools.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills:.
- Knowledge of SQL, databases, and scripting, cloud platforms.
- Experience in a customer-facing role, providing technical support.
- Understanding of ITIL standards and processes / experience of working with ServiceNow or an equivalent ITSM / CRM tool
- Application support experience delivering against Service Level Agreement targets
