Reference: - SA2308We wish to appoint a life model to School of Art, University of Worcester. The role of the life model is challenging and requires discipline and concentration. Most sessions require clothed life models as we will be working in the art studios.

Background
The School itself is organised into two academic departments.
The Department of Art & Design Communication supports undergraduate provision in Game Art, Illustration, Fine Art with Psychology and Graphic Design, Graphic Design, Advertising and Marketing plus MA Creative Media and MRes courses in Art.
The Department of Theatre, Film and Media Production houses undergraduate programmes in Drama & Performance, Film Production; Journalism and Screenwriting plus MA Drama & Performance and the MRes courses in Film and Theatre.
The Department of Art & Design Communication takes a highly proactive approach to engaging with the professional world and to creating opportunities for its current students and alumni.
It has strong links with a range of professional arts organizations and the wider creative and cultural industries nationally and internationally and was shortlisted for the THE Excellence and Innovation in the Arts award, 2017.
There has been significant continued investment in facilities for the Arts and the teaching and student experience has benefitted from the use of dedicated studio provision such as the Game Art Studio and Digital Arts Centre and dedicated Drama Studios.
In in addition, a new facility:
the Art House Studios opened in 2019.
This is a new home for a number of related art courses and provide a home for the International Centre for the Picture Book in Society.
From 1 August 2023, pay rate for this role will increase to £13.03 per hour.
