Committed to delivering excellent service, our Northwich branch of TG Builders Merchants are now seeking to recruit a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to work in this busy and fast paced branch.

We currently have a vacancy for a full-time salesperson to work in our Door Centre Department which specialises in the sale of Doors, Floors and Windows.

We pride ourselves on our vast range and the aim is to continue providing a positive customer experience and driving sales within the department.

Key responsibilities:

  • Working in this specialist department to greet and serve customers in a polite and efficient manner
  • Maximise sales and demonstrate a good product knowledge of doors, windows and floor products to customers
  • Meet high standards of display and to ensure the showroom is well presented
  • Assist in administration duties
  • Build relationships with customers both face to face and via the telephone
  • Develop your knowledge of our suppliers and the materials they supply
  • Assist with deliveries and stock replenishment in and out of the store
  • Dealing with telephone queries effectively

You will:

- have excellent customer service skills

  • Not be afraid of responsibility and use it to motivate you in your work
- be a team player and offer flexibility
- have great communication skills with both colleagues and customers
- preferably have experience in a similar industry/sector. This is desirable but not essential as we are happy to train the right person
