Duties:

  • Manage a caseload of up to 8 patients
  • Provide up to an hour of daily input to these patients alongside other physio's, OTs and rehabilitation assistants using a range of therapeutic adjuncts
  • "Link-work" 1-2 of your patients
  • Coordinate the care and discharge planning of that patient, liaising with family members and chairing meetings where appropriate
  • Accurate and timely documentation onto systmOne will then be required for each patient
  • Handing over any relevant information to the MDT

Requirements of the Neuro Occupational Therapist:

  • Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy
  • Recent NHS experience
  • Registered with the HCPC
  • Experience in the assessment, treatment and management of complex neurological conditions including Stroke, Spinal Cord Injuries and Traumatic Brain Injuries
  • Car driver
