What you will be doing

The Enterprise Risk Manager is responsible for developing, enhancing, and executing the ERM program to assist the company in effectively managing its risks and demonstrating an industry leading program and approach using exceptional leadership skills, a network of risk champions and highly developed business skills.

Definition, implementation, and maintenance of the Enterprise Risk Management Framework. Identify risk management maturity, upskill executive teams on standards and best practices and achieve buy-in for change activities. Regular audits of Baringa's risk management activities to determine maturity and identify areas for improvement in governance, policy, process, and technology. Best practice approach to identifying the company's most significant enterprise risk. Alignment of ERM program to legislation, regulation, policies, standards, and contractual obligations. Strategic direction through business managers and champions providing advice, support, and guidance. Working with executive/management teams to build a culture that encourages forward and commercial thinking to embed risk management in decision making. Review applicable risk management clauses in client terms and supplier contracts. Support client engagement leads on client queries and requests during the business development process and during ongoing client engagement. For example, RfPs and client audits. Proactive, forward-looking activity of identifying emerging risks: environment scanning, trend analysis, gap analysis, risk assessment. Managing ERM team, including all project and performance management, recruitment, training, and development. Your skills and experience
In depth knowledge of operational/ enterprise risk management. Previous controls testing experience in Risk within a corporate environment. Executive presentation skills. Commercial and strategic focus on supporting business success and growth. Experience managing cross-functional and remote teams. Horizon and regulatory scanning. Demonstrated ability to identify risks associated with business processes, operations, and technology projects. Ability to function as an enterprise risk subject matter expert who can explain complex topics to those without a technical background. What a career at Baringa will give you
