We have an exception role for you, in the position of
Business Support Executive within our Corporate Sales Team here at HCA.


HCA UK's corporate sales team manage over 1000 corporate clients delivering screening, occupational health, psychological and primary care services and helping clients integrate access to our unmatched system of healthcare.

The team also develop opportunities for new business and partnerships with intermediaries and third parties to provide a rich corporate proposition.


In this role, you will provide business administrative support to the Vice President and Assistant Vice President of Corporate Sales alongside analytical reporting to the wider team.


You will have the Opportunity to:

  • To provide day to day executive support and diary management to VP and AVP Corporate Sales and day to day admin and analytical support to wider Corporate Sales department.
  • To provide support for an extensive range of meetings. This will include preparing agendas, pre meeting briefings and meeting papers, ensure distribution of all relevant meeting papers in a timely manner and attendance to minute and take action items, where appropriate.
  • Use your initiative to put forward proposals for improved ways of working and efficiencies across the department.
  • To provide support to staff members at internal and external meetings, events, and internal training sessions
  • To be a point of escalation on behalf of Corporate Sales when necessary and support with technical issues, IT order requests, internal and external data reporting e.g., CRM reports, mandatory training reports, bespoke client reports.
  • Support with department finance and vendor management including invoicing, expenses, monthly forecasts and budgets, vendor, and contract management onboarding vendors and working with Legal department where appropriate.
  • To support with internal and external sales communications, operate mail merge, create, and edit reports, spreadsheets and assist with PowerPoint presentations as required, using MS Office
  • Act as a central contact point for stakeholders across the business and manage queries from other departments. redirecting/ taking messages and using initiative to deal with queries. Manage relationships and act as a trusted and professional liaison.
  • Event management support with the coordination and management of client seminars, intermediary events, internal conferences, sales meetings, strategy days including booking meeting rooms, organising catering, and liaising with guests etc.
  • Oversee department holiday planning, inductions for new recruits, managing and monitoring team performance on mandatory training, overseeing, and reporting DPA breach reporting/resolution.
  • Represent VP and AVP Corporate Sales at various internal committees as appropriate, provide summary papers, meeting notes and coordinate with colleagues to progress actions from meetings.

Ideally, we are looking for someone who has;

  • Previous experience at a senior PA/EA level to include strong minute taking skills
  • Proven ability to prioritise a busy workload.
  • Secretarial skills/qualification
  • Knowledge of hospital departments and personnel and that of other hospitals within this group
  • Good customer facing and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Good data analysis and reporting skills
  • Proactive and flexible
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer literate
  • High level of competence in Microsoft Office packages
  • Good organizational skills
  • Problem solving
  • Knowledge of the corporate healthcare market is desirable but not essential.
