About Dyad
Dyad's mission is to enhance healthcare delivery and efficiency. We are developing a platform to model and manage information flow within healthcare organizations, aiming to improve outcomes for patients, payers, and healthcare providers. We believe that the handling of data in current healthcare systems is overly complex and disjointed, leading to isolated and inefficient decision-making processes. At Dyad, we are an energetic early-stage startup with a current team of around twenty-five employees. As we venture into new markets and opportunities, we are passionate about leveraging technology for impactful ventures. New team members will play a significant role in shaping the company's direction and culture.
Our Products - Dyad's Platform
Dyad's products are built on our Semantic AI platform, providing payers and providers access to cutting-edge AI capabilities for their specific use cases and applications. Our partners can directly utilize the platform APIs or collaborate with us to create applications tailored to their needs. For more details, please refer to our Platform page.
Primary Care Operations
Dyad offers a range of products for healthcare operations, including:

  • BetterLetter, an AI tool that assists practices in reducing administrative workload associated with processing clinical letters. This tool aids in identifying codes, suggesting follow-up tasks, and optimizing workflows, ultimately helping providers save time and costs, enhance performance under audits, and strengthen staffing resilience.
The Role
We are looking for a Regulatory and Compliance Officer to join our team. In this position, you will report directly to the Operations Director, ensuring that our operations and business transactions comply with all relevant legal and internal regulations. This role is ideal for individuals with a compliance-focused background in the early to mid stages of their career or those with experience in operations or project management looking to pivot towards regulatory and compliance.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain our Information Security Management System and Quality Management Systems.
  • Utilize our Drata ISMS platform to ensure compliance with controls, policies, and training records.
  • Create and update company policies, oversee their implementation, and assist staff in understanding them.
  • Enhance staff guidelines and company wiki to facilitate comprehension of regulatory processes.
  • Conduct proactive audits to identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide education and training to staff on accreditations and industry practices.
  • Oversee and enhance accreditations such as DSPT, Cyber Essentials, ISO27001, SOC2, and HIPAA.
  • Support staff by addressing inquiries related to quality, regulatory, and compliance matters.
  • Develop practical solutions to align business objectives with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Stay updated on new laws and regulations impacting the health-tech industry.
  • Collaborate with our Clinical Safety Officer to uphold standards like DCB0129.
Requirements
Must have:
  • Demonstrated experience as a Compliance Officer or Project Manager in a highly regulated industry, preferably healthcare. Candidates with detailed and delivery-focused roles in similar industries are also welcome to apply.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, along with strong interpersonal and collaborative abilities to promote an inclusive learning and compliance culture.
  • Methodical and diligent approach with exceptional planning skills.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment or the willingness to work in such a setting.
Nice to have:
  • Previous exposure to or interaction with NHS organizations.
  • Familiarity with standard Data Protection accreditations in the UK and US.
  • Hands-on experience with sensitive data, such as identifiable patient information.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations, particularly those in the health-tech sector, including accreditations like DSPT, Cyber Essentials, ISO27001, SOC2, and HIPAA.
  • History of supporting internal and external audits.
Our Hiring Process
