The main focus of a Food and Beverage team member is to greet customers and check they are enjoying their experience, as well as manage customer complaints.

As a Food and Beverage Assistant you will be involved in duties such as:

  • Participate in the organisation of department for service
  • Clean restaurant (furniture & floor)
  • Prepare the table settings
  • Prepare the back of house
  • Prepare the meeting room & coffee break
  • Welcome the guest. Take the food and drink order. Service of the food and drink. Ensure guest satisfaction. Clean the table away
  • Participate in the afterservice cleaning. Clean the guest crockery, clean the washing & restaurant area, clean the bar area, clean crockery for guest usage

Knowledge and Skills required:

Training

  • Prior hospitality training

Experience

  • Prior experience (1 year) in a branded environment in the hospitality industry

Expertise

  • Basic food hygiene HACCP
  • Knowledge of health & safety procedures
