Job Title: Return to Practice Clinical Placement Opportunities
We have exciting clinical placement opportunities available in mental health and learning disability services. We take your preferences into account and aim to offer a high-quality return to practice experience. This position provides a wide range of learning opportunities for any Allied Health Professional (AHP) interested in advancing their career with Leeds and York Partnership Trust. After reviewing your application, you will have a career discussion with one of our AHP leads to plan your placement.
If you have been out of practice for more than 2 years and are looking to return, you will need to update your knowledge and skills. Ensuring your registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) is up to date is essential.
Main Duties:
- 0-2 years out of practice: No need to update knowledge and skills, just apply for vacancies on NHS Jobs if registered with HCPC.
- 2-5 years out of practice: Spend 30 days updating skills (private study not more than 50% of the time) and re-register with HCPC.
- 5+ years out of practice: Spend 60 days updating skills (private study not more than 50% of the time) and re-register with HCPC.
