About the apprenticeship:


Our Apprenticeship programmes have become well established over many years within our various sites in the UK, and we are proud to see the success and development of the employees who began their career on our apprenticeship programmes.


This apprenticeship programme is designed to develop you ove r 2 years to reach a nationally recognised level 2 qualification in manufacturing.

On completion of this apprenticeship, you will be considered for appointment to a permanent role.


You will report directly to one of our highly skilled team leaders, who will invest time and effort in helping you make the most out of this opportunity.

You will also have a dedicated coach who will help you succeed at work and at college.

A s it is shift-based, y ou'll need to be 18 years old by that start date.

The attractive shift pattern allows you to work four 12-hour shift s (two days and two nights) followed by six days off.

During your apprenticeship you will learn to work in an efficient and confident way, and develop skills such as:

  • Taking responsibility for a machine area
  • How to communicate technical information and identify engineering equipment
  • Develop productive working relationships with colleagues
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Business Health and Safety procedures
  • STEM skills
We'll provide all of the tools to help you succeed. In return we ask you to bring your enthusiasm and passion to learn and develop.

We keep our list of requirements short, but there are a few that you will need:

  • You will have a minimum of 4 GCSE qualifications at standard grade C/grade 5 or above, including Maths and English
  • You will be willing to learn and take a positive approach to problem solving
  • You will have the ability to be flexible and manage time effectively
  • You will have great attention to detail
  • You will be a team player
